Cool xr8 intake manifold

I took the intake manifold off awhile ago and re-installed.
Silly me forgotten where the vacuum hoses go.

Has someone got a diagram of the intake manifold ?
maybe photos of engine bay that might show hoses around this area.
Cheers.

Here's a few pics for you.

One hose goes to the brake booster

Another to the pcv valve at the rear of the manifold

And the little orange one that goes to some sort of regulator

If you had the mainfold off, then chances are you would probably have taken the intake off too? If so, check to make sure your MAF is plugged in properly, as well as the sensor that goes in the middle of the intake tube (forget what it's called)

The promblem could be,I didnt use a new gasket or glue?
Just put old gasket on and tighten, the gasket seemed fine.

Idil rough/if you go accelerate and take foot off still is reving and slowing comes back to a rough idil,

Sucking air coursing this ? or a sensor ?

It does sound vacuum related, Especially considering you did just pull your upper manifold off. I would try a new manifold gasket, and double check all your connections are nice and snug. Also make sure your TPS, IAC, MAF, and Heat sensor have all been reconnected since you finished.

Rocker cover to throttle body is correct. You sure you've plugged all the hoses into your manifold??? There shouldn't be any connections left over.

just make sure the hose near the very back of the manifold closest to firewall is plugged right in - its a right bugger of a thing to get back in once youve had it out, sometimes you think youve got it on but it's not on far enough.

all hoses seem well,
New petrol and seems to idil fine.

Issuie is when you tap accelarated and take foot off it keeps reving......than after about 6 seconds it goes back to idil.

Im thinking this means its sucking air around manifold? best thing replace gasket?
than go from there..........
im such a clats:-p

this is an old thread though hopefully still alive.
Can you guys tell me where the two black vacuum hose go on the manifold picture above ?? I know one is the brake booster though what is the second hose and which is which???

Reason - I m fitting a Trickflow R series to my new engine and i need to re plumb for the second hose.

Ok - now i know, I just re read the post more closely...
One to the brake booster and the other to the PVC valve.

Im assuming the twin plumbed hose goes to the booster ??

Can anyone assist in identifying the missing part for this vaccum line at the back of my Windsor V8 Intake Manifold. I assume it is an elbow joint that has popped off and this leads to the PCV Valve? if so where can i get one?
