Focus 2007 LT reverse wire

Hi,
bought a reverse camera for my focus 2007 Sedan LT and just wandering if anyone knows if i can tap into the reverse signal wire from the front of the car rather than pulling it from the back light assembly?

if it is a manual you can use the reverse switch on the gearbox

and where is the reverse switc?

on my tdci it was on top of the box mid way along slightly toward the front has a two wire clip on it

Lots of fun to get to on petrol version.

I'd stick to the wire at the very back, under the rear bumper lip. use a cable splicer.

Couldn't tell you where that leads at the front of the vehicle.

Run reverse lights wire with camera cable to rear and connect to reverse lights -some camera cables already have reverse cable already in the same cable next to the connecting plug
