They said these motors are generally quiet. i gotta 3inch system with the lukey, 2 normal cats and facotry headers. im looking into getting pacemaker extractors. help me!!!!!

2 sets of 4 side pipes, exiting under the sills just past the front wheel. It'll sound great, and you can change your name by deed poll to Max...

my EF has EL GT headers, 2.5" hi-flow cats, and a full twin 2.25" system, and it has a nice rumble, but not a "clap"...
get some pacey's and some decent cats. |

The clap your after is from an unbalanced twin system. If you want this get a twin 2.25 system with no balance/H/X pipe

That could be a bit of a problem. Legal doesn't equal loud. |

I've just bolted on a slightly illegal db exhaust on my 02 Mazda. It sounds nice and deep and doesn't scream like a 2 stroke! Mrs hates it Maybe I should do the same to her EL?? :

I agree with Walkinshaw, twin 2.25 with no balance pipe.

Try running it "dumped at the diff".
Take off the exhaust from the muffler back. And is it 2 into single 3inch system? Twin 3inch is pretty crazy loud |

My two cents......
Take your $550 and buy an xd, run it rich as hell and remove the exhaust system. Then clap to your hearts content. |

Unbolt the extractors at the heads. might not be so good on the engine bay paint, but hey, its only paint.
