One warehouse i used to work in on occasion, their isles for the pallet racks were 2 foot wider then standard and about a foot out on either side of the aisle there was guard rails. So not the most efficient use of space considering more aisle could technically fit, but i suppose the company that got the racks put in 30 years ago were thinking prevention. There were a lot of solid dents in the guard rails too.

Looks like he hit it pretty gently. I feel like the shelves should be able to handle a bump like that.
