$350 is ok, cos it cost $150 for them to send it away to get tested, so $200 for them to pull it out and reinstall it ain't to bad.

are you meaning you need a test to get your tank back into date ??

if you are then that is far to much

look for a DIVE SHOP or even the C.F.A.
The c.f.a. do it here for $97.50 as a straight test good for 10 years other bits are extra .
I had them do mine at x'mass time and they replaced the flote level and all up it was $118.20 and then you get it put back in by a auto gas center.. dont do it your self .

would it be a bit risky if you take out the tank your self??? cause $200 just to take it out and back in is pretty expensive.

Im not sure where the legislation dictates that an authorised installer's work ends/starts. I'm reasonably sure anything to do with hard lines needs to be done by a professional. You may beable to install the tank yourself and get the gasplace to just fit the lines to the tank. Find out first though.

Depends on the type of tank that is being tested. Some tanks can cost 200+ to get tested because the cheaper thanks (sprint gass, midleton) have all the valves/guages/AFL in one unit. THe APA tanks are cheap to test as they have seperate valves, guage floats, afl's. And not all need to be replaced

well i got quoted by a place in dandy called all-tek automotives for $300 and i do have a apa tank so thats why its $300 this place is $50 cheaper then the other guys and also they said we highly doubt your converter needs changing cause if you can run gas then its working he said its probly either just running rich or it has a leak... he said $110 for a service and we will fix any leaks if we find any while we service it btw can i do anything to make it run less rich?? hence if thats the problem saving me a $110 service

GOOD PRICING????

thanx
