Default Fairmont rear courtesy globe replacement

I have a AU1 fairmont that the rear console courtesy light has died. I have tried removing the clear cover, but it feels like its about to break. Any advice on how to remove the clear cover to get to the globe? The AU manual has nothing on the subject.

If its anything like a bf, pop out the rear a/c vents with a small flat blade screw driver, then the lamp should be accessible. Well, thats on a bf atleast

Thanks for your suggestion, but I found that if I was a bit braver, the clear lens unclips at the top and opens downward exposing the wedge bulb or in my case, the dead wedge bulb.
