Default From another thread... car names!

LMAO
The first time I saw a Kluger I thought it was a cross between a pistol (Luger) and a neo Nazi skinhead. Bloody awful name for a car (ugly too).

But the SS is the worst name in the history of cars - perhaps that's why I am so anti holden.

Any other weird car names anyone can think of?

The urban legend (?) over the Pajero being Spanish for ****er still makes me giggle...

Did you know Ford used the "SS" nameplate for a seriously limited edition run of EB's in 1992...
I can't think of any bad names, but in terms of innappropriate names, the Chevy/Holden "Suburban" is pretty bad... can you imagine a worse car for the suburbs?

Ford sunk that low??? Morons.

I know it's a Ford but the Ka is another bad name, talk about the bleeding obvious (but then again, maybe it's a joke - it's not really a car, more like a mobile speed hump - just my opinion cos everytime I see one I wanna run over it).

EF Machine, the Probe is one I forgot about. Serious penis envy (the guy driving it wishes he had one).

Sorry to say, but Pinto, well, Ford should have done it's homework before deciding on that for a name for a car, instead of finding out afterwards what it was slang for... :(

What about the Toyota Pod?

Funny little car, based on Sony's Aibo Robot Dog.

I remember back in the 80's Nissan used computers to develop their names, one of the most remembered names within the company developed by the supercomputer that oddly never made it as a badge was the Nissan C_ _T
