Default Kubota GS 300 Engine

Help. I have just acquired a used Kubota GS 300 engine on a slasher type mower. Would appreciate any info, engine specifications at least without having to commit to sponsored web sites.

Default Re: Kubota GS 300 Engine

It's a single cylinder petrol engine of 276 cc capacity and rated at 7.2 HP (5.4 kW) @ 3,600 rpm. It was widely used in mowers and generators.

I believe it is carburettor with electronic ignition in most iterations but I know in the US there are other options.
