Haven't searched for any old threads.
BA and BF are interchangeable if you match the headlights with the bumper. BA / BF swap to FG is a no-go. Nothing in the front matches up with the doors etc, and the Rad. support panel is totally different. There were some Ute people fitting the FG Ute tub on BA/BF. It looks quite silly when none of the body lines match up. I have studied a fair bit on the Terri SX/SY to SZ conversion. That is possible by welding in the new plastic rad. support, but you run into issues like airbag front sensor etc. |

Don't know and I haven't found them (I really tried for you but most results were about AUs)
Maybe search but rather than forums search feature use google and just add site: EG "ba to bf or whatever your search term is in these quotes" site:fordforums.com.au or site:fordmods.com, site:fordxr6turbocom etc |

Yes those body kits (modernized bumpers) give you a little newer look, but is still the same body panels.
Many would say those fibre glass bumper kits will lower the value of the vehicle, as it looks rather 'modified'. I forgot about FG to FGX conversion that some have done. It involves new bonnet, new guards, new lights, bumper, (and also rear boot lid and rear bumper to get the full look). Cheers, |

the Ute won’t be a stock engined ba Xl for long ( built turbo’d monster cause mechanics need toy cars 😂😂😂) Just deciding wether to do a few nice outside mods ( wheels bars and stuff ) or keep it completely stock looking with wider rear steel wheels and a y pipe off exhaust to remind people sometimes looks are deceiving 😈😈😈
