Hey mate.
You'll need to pull the passenger airbag cover off.. It will break 4 white clips but they are like $1 from ford. Lift it off gently from one corner then pull till the clips break. Then from memory you shouldn't have to remove the actual airbag and with a small enough 10mm spanner undo 5 nuts behind the spear and it will come out. Remove the climate control unit first though. Hope that helps..!

If I remember correctly you have to remove the air vent to get to the last nut on the end of the spear.

Just on a side note pretty sure the stupid little plastic clips that hold the cover on are about $3-$4 each!! I remember busting them when replacing the side air vent and I ended up sticking the airbag cover back on with bluetac.

Hi Guys
I have manufactured some airbag clips that are better than OEM. They come in a set of 4. Link below https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Ford-AU-...kAAOSwW6hfmVQ1 |

Don't go pulling your passenger side dash to bits. Simply use wd40 or similar lubricant along the top edge of dash spear & let it drip into the top recesses those 5 (square head) bolts occupy on the the back of the dash spear. Leave it an hour & do it again. Then withdraw the dash spear sideways! towards the passenger door, do NOT pull the spear towards you. The slotted plastic on back of spear will slide off the square head bolts. Putting in on is the reverse but way more trickier to line up the square head bolts. If you are going to pull dash apart to do this quick job the old way, don't overtighten the 5 nuts, you'll simply break the spear or the the plastic bolt head tabs. Hope this helps.
