Wouldn't surprise me if the old meat safe that hung in trees etc wasn't one of ours ..In the days before refrigeration or when many couldn't afford or have necessary access to power to have a fridge .

Has anyone else mentioned road trains too...We're a pretty clever mob given a lot of other inventions already mentioned .
