From what I understand they're all running cars aswell.
There was an article a while back about a lady that inherited her uncles Mk1 Escort with just under 1000 miles on it. In forethought he'd also collected alot of NOS service items for it. She donated it and they recommissioned it using his parts and let her click over the 1000th mile before it was stored.
