Hi guys,
A friend as a 2009 fiesta diesel which needs the fuel spout replaced, anyone done this before? I thought it was just a simple job but I’m hearing it’s a bigger job needing the whole neck replaced?

What part actually needs replacing? If you see the image below all the available components are shown and as you can see the capless valve bit (27936) where a normal fuel cap would go is available separate?

The removal doesn't look that difficult. It's in Section 310-01 of the workshop manual in our Tech Portal.
