I’ve heard before that the Brute Utes series was all factory but when the Supercharged Miami came in for the FG they didn’t use it but swapped it for the NA Coyote in order to keep the Commodores competitive
Could someone confirm or deny this Thanks |

Kind of true..
The Brute series was based on the XR8 v SS level, when the series moved from the B-Series to the FG it was a bit later on in the model cycle so there was no longer an XR8 and only the GS. With that in mind they basically made their own XR8 in fitting the N/A Coyote to go head to head with the 6L SS. |
