Hi Gents
I want to run individual LS2 coils on my turbo AU but not sure which ones to buy any advice would be greatly appreciated cheers Dave |

I've got ACDelco D585 (LS2 'truck') coils on my Caprice.
They're sensitive on dwell times, they adjust dwell based on input voltage and have inbuilt protection built in that it'll fire early and cause advanced timing if you aren't careful of you run them too hot, plus I've killed a couple in about 20,000km but that might be because I've got the China ACDelco variants rather than the genuine Delphi ones. I reckon maybe stick to regular LS1 coils or IGN1A coils, given the **** mines given me on the ignition coil front with tricky protection strategies inbuilt into the coils and poor lifespan. https://www.efihardware.com/products...Igniter-IGN-1A |
