Default Panel Filter Question

: : Hi all,
Im new to the forum & also new to modifying cars. But id love to start modifying my 03 Focus CL 1.8 manual. Iv looked into getting a panel filter, but Autobarn rang K&N & they told them they dont sell them for the 1.8, but only for 2L Focus. Just wondering if any one knows if they sell a 1.8 Focus panel filter or will the 2L filter do fine? If there is a 1.8 panel filter what is the part No:
Thanx

yeah I thought same air-box so same filter should fit?? also if you are looking to do that you might also like to replace the front air deflector from the manual to the auto one (the auto one allows air direct into the intake mouth from behind the grill..cheap to I think mine was $17 or something).

I bought the auto air deflector last week. Ford had no idea what I was talking about when I asked for the auto air deflector. Even after trying to explain it. So I ended up showing them a picture that Melbzetec kindly provided in a previous post. Then after some time they finally found the part. Cost me $45. If you end up getting the deflector here is the part No: 2M5116613DB
Might save you time & energy! Also save a lot of head scratching by Ford.

Even when its a falcon they often give me the impression they have no idea. I have had much betta luck buying new parts via Ebay (Bayford Ford)

Thanks for the help guys. Picked up my Panel Filter 2day from Autobarn for $82. I'll look into getting one of those air deflectors from Ford next. Thanks for the part number Deano!
