Default Freaky Friday at WSID, my new PB.

Just got back from WSID and Im absolutley wrapt with the BOSS tonight. Since my last outing last december I could only manage a 14.598 best out of 3 runs with cat back exhaust being the only mod, recently I put in a BMC pod filter and a Powerpipe and managed a 14.006 @ 102.17mph ( 164.44km ). If I stayed longer a 13 wouldve been on the cards guranteed.

Here are the rest of the results

ET ------ K/mh ------ MPH----60--Air temp

14.299 @ 160.43km ( 99.68 ) 2.307 27

14.304 @ 159.82km ( 99.30 ) 2.264 28

14.208 @ 160.34km ( 99.63 ) 2.223 27

14.469 @ 159.08km ( 98.05 ) 2.367 28 backed off momentarily

14.172 @ 160.48km ( 99.71 ) 2.220 28

14.259 @ 161.06km ( 100.08 ) 2.334 27

14.145 @ 161.96km ( 100.64 ) 2.277 23

14.006 @ 164.44km ( 102.17 ) 2.221 20 " PB "

I didnt see any other BOSS owners out there today.....I was the only one waving the flag ahhh well theres always a next time....

Lucky there was no street meet here in Melbourne tonight as it would of been called off due to the dreaded drag racing word RAIN...............

Your ET's were dropping like the weather, your next run would of been a 13.9 guaranteed.

Well done

Regards Craig

There wasnt many cars out there tonight, saw the same cars about 7 times.. got fairly boring, but amoungst the few cars there was some seriously impressive and reasonably fast cars.. and alot of the burnouts were a good effort.

BF XR6 turbo manual - 13.3's consistantly all night, didnt get a chance to speak with him though.
AU XR8 auto, stroked on NOS, ran 10.9 then low 11's for the rest of the night.

and of course XR8gen3.. well done on your times mate. If i knew it was you i would of come and said hey in the pits.

Thumbs up Wsid

Way to go mate! Keeping chipping away, the 13 will come. Is it a manual or auto? Either way, if you bring that 60' down to 2.0 something you'll have that 13. As the Mark the Spoolman said, a bunch of us were there Wednesday although I wasn't racing. We're(Lowride260, Hot460, MYV8 & myself) full of hot air and tips, 2 of us have manuals and 2 have autos. Keep in touch on the forum, there will be other nights especially now that the cold weather is around the corner.

Yeah thanks PhantomXR8.....the 13 was already there Im sure but after 8 hours and 8 passes I was buggered....I dont think I could improve on my 60' its just not in it to get out of the hole any quicker......maybe with some more mods.

By the way I did actually meet you and MYV8 last time I ventured out to WSID.
