Question How to key in radio code Ford stereo

I have my 4 digit code to unlock the stereo, but it features digits other than the 1-6 buttons on the model 1R23 18C868 AA TXD. Countless clips suggest repeatedly pressing the keys to cycle through the numbers on screen, however this isn't possible for me. Each press of the numbered buttons enters that corresponding numeral with a single push of the button. How do I cycle the numbers to enter "0" for example?

The code is keyed in using the channel preset buttons, so if your code has numbers outside of the range of 1-6, you may have the wrong code.

On some radios to enter code for example 2146. You press button 1 2 times, button 2 1 time, button 3 4 times, and button 4 6 times.

Judging by the image attached, it's an AU radio. The code on an AU radio is input by simply pressing the channel preset buttons corresponding to the code.

"Input the four digits of the security code sequentially by pressing the corresponding numbered Channel Preset button"

I have put 3 AU Radio/CD players in my car, bought from wreckers, I have an AU2 Fairmont 2000 model, non had a tape player, each came with a code numbered 1 - 5 which I push each number only once, I did it on Saturday when I put new battery in, I just entered my code 5524 with a double push on 5 then a single push on 2 and 4.

Good luck mate!
