Default Australian spec instrument cluster into Canadian Festiva

Hello fellow members. I own a 1993 Ford Festiva 2-door hatchback with a 5-speed manual transmission. For some time now I have wanted a Ford instrument cluster with a stock tachometer, which was not a factory option in Canada. It was available as an option in the USA, but the speedo was in MPH and not KPH. I finally discovered that an Australian cluster has a stock tachometer and a KPH speedo, but the wiring harness for the Australian Festiva cluster is pinned differently than the Canadian harness. I have managed to figure some of the wiring out, and verified that there is a factory tach wire run from the coil to the cluster. Would anyone happen to have access to a wiring diagram for the cluster in an Australian Festiva that they could share? I would really appreciate any help that anyone can offer. Thanks in advance!

1993 is change over year for Festiva, do you have a WA or WB Festiva as they are an entirely different shape?

Is this what you are after? Its one page but I had to cut it into 4 sections as it was too big to attach as one.

Hi GTLEGEND,

Thanks for the diagrams that you sent. They were exactly what I was looking for. I'll let you know how it turns out once I repin the cluster harness plugs and install the cluster. Thanks a lot for your help!

Thanks again GTLEGEND! Those wiring diagrams showed us exactly how to repin our cluster harness for the Australian cluster. It worked right away with no issues except for a couple of burnt out dash bulbs which are no big deal to change. What are the chances that you would have access to a wiring diagram for the wiper and turn signal switches? We're also swapping in Australian versions of those to get the option of intermittent wipers which wasn't an option in Canada either.

Does anyone know what this lever is for on the back of a WA Festiva speedometer? It can move into three different positions and I'm not sure which one it should be set at. My speedometer id currently out roughly 12 km/h at about 50 km/h when comparing to a GPS speedometer. I am currently running the stock 12" tire size. Thanks everyone.
