Default Flathead V8 Burble

Journalist Joe Kenwright posted this short clip of his Ford Twin Spinner Flathead V8.

If you weren't around back then, it was the holy grail of cars available in Aus. A 1951 model, the twin spinner was sold into 1952 while the first Customline was prepared for local build. Here's what one sounds like after a NOS muffler has just been fitted:

Loved all the chromed/polished go fast goodies you could buy for them back when an engine wasn't cloaked in plastic (safety) covers.

My favourite flathead moments, don't know why.
Money shots @ 1.04-1.10mins.
