Default Car insurance

Guys, i have a 95 LTD with a 347 stroker, lowered and alloy wheels and stuff but i am struggling to get a reasonable insurance quote. Can i ask what you guys do in this kind of situation? Just extended 3rd part? or do you pay huge premiums for full cover?
Cheers,
Steve.

What do you call reasonable?

Living in a country town I've never even considered Third party property ins.

Have you tried Shannons? I've modded just about everything on my NL and it only costs me about $450 a year to insure, but that's limited kms and garaged.

Is it a daily?

Shannons is my insurer of choice. I use other companies for transient cars, or my bikes.

They are exceedingly cheaper than any other company. Cover all my mods, do limited use, pay by the month etc.

Highly recommend them.

Thanks for the replies but yes this is my daily and that is the killer. i have found an insurer by the name of Enthusiast and they will cover me up to 15000kms per year, i get the full agreed payout if written off plus the wreck and the less kms i do, the cheaper the premium.
