santoitaliano has an APV SR-3900 Falcon..... we've discovered that, sans the boot spoiler, the APV kit is the same as (or at least close enough that you cant tell the difference) to the EA GT kit.....

I think the SR3900 bodykit is pretty rare, even though my uncle had one on his EA Falcon S. The bonnet vents look very similar to Sierra Cosworth ones, which you can get from SSV www.ssv.com.au or you can try one of our site sponsors AWC www.awcinfo.com

Im not convinced anything externally on that car is original of the prototype, wheels and paint certainly isnt, and I doubt the bodykits is either.

They really should bring it back to how its supposed to look, not how they thought it should of looked.

i think most people that see it realise that..... its also on the plaque at the display that it had the kit and paint done by the gordon institute of tafe stdents........
but having it how it was...essentially an EA GL with NA Fairlane rims??...yeah that'll get people lookin at it

On the video "Falcon GT - The Legend" that came out to mark the 30 years of the GT, it shows photos of the EA GT only to say that it was put in a massive crusher. This was obviously before the GT was found in a shed and before it was done up by the tafe students. Anyway, the point is, in the photos it looks pretty much identical to what it does now.

I have seen the pics with the NA wheels, but also pics of the original show car which looks much the same as the one in the Discovery Centre. Still hasn't figured that one out!
