Lightbulb Cut my losses?

I just put a deposit down on a Ford Mondeo Zetec MC Auto 2012, low kms under 100k, looks immaculate.
Roadworthy inspection, has an oil leak, find out its the transmission, they initially thought it was the rear gasket, turns out its the clutch cover. They have now sent the transmission off to a specialist to fix it. Have been waiting, waiting.
Should I cancel the purchase and get something else, or be thankful I'm not paying and just wait for the repairs ?

just wait, nice that someone else is doing the repairs. Keep that trans serviced every 60kms or less.
