Hi all, have engine light on with P2566 Turbocharger boost control position sensor circuit intermittent.
Anyone had this happen before and know of a fix or replacement part number? Is this the sensor on the turbo housing accessible from under car? Im wanting to inspect the part to see if maybe a wire has been damaged and take it off the turbo to see if the position sensor is stuck/sticking. Would be grateful if anyone has info on this issue? You can start by having a look in the WSM (our tech portal) as it shows the location of the sensor and identifies some troubleshooting steps you can follow.

Thanks Russell, I found the sensor in the workshop manual for my car.
Just to update the thread: I found this video which helped me diagnose the issue - https://youtu.be/YZWvEakfElg?t=778 On the weekend I removed the sensor and although the sensor didn't seem stuck or sticking I pushed it in and out a few times to ensure it was freed up. Gave it a bit of clean and then reinstalled it. Cleared the code and its been 3 days of driving and the code\engine light hasn't returned. |
