Hi all
I am a bit new to this. I am needing to update the Sync 2 to v3.8. I have managed to download a file from the internet for the upgrade but not sure if it is compatible or not. The current unit has Navigation available and the "new" K7 maps. My questions are: How safe would it be to update using the downloaded file? Would there be any compatibility issues if it's not an AU file? Would it require a reprogram using Forscan? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks |

Try this link, it should be the latest 3.10 for Australia, if it works - When I tried 3.08 I lost my factory navigation, not sure why but there was some issue with the install. Oh, and FYI - Don't install software made for other countries.

Sorry to resurrect at slightly old thread, i updated using JasonACT's link to 3.10 binaries and now the settings page doesn't work properly. I'm trying to access the wallpaper change menu but it just never loads?

I used forscan to enable the navigation yesterday, and after that the menus started working again (maybe during the restart it did).
I was then able to unlock with the png file and one more master reset brought the navigation up for me. Thanks to all the people who worked this out, like JasonACT.

hi i was wandering if anyone can point me in the right direection as to where i can download the 3.8 update for sync 2 australian version ?
lookede everywhere but cant seem to find the australian update and enable gps if anyone can help that would be awesome |
