I have a 2010 MC Zetec TDCI which is terrible to drive in "D" mode. We've had the car since new, and to be honest, the transmission has never been smooth since day one. Now it's almost undriveable in drive mode, either struggling to change gear, or slipping out of gear. For the most part, it's not too bad if I drive it in manual mode. Can anyone suggest any transmission specialists in Perth that work on Powershift transmission's? I am south of the river.

If you can DIY you can save heaps and often get better results.
There's a very good series of videos on YouTube about it. It's really not too difficult. https://youtu.be/jxCEdxT2_Rk?si=a5nrZAnhaeuWbhIq And an OBD2 adapter and Forscan on a laptop and you get access to all the diagnostics etc. |
