Dear Ford,
If you're going to bring us a new van, give us the one we really want.
Regards Australian Ford fans.

Nice nod to Ari Vatanen @2.00

Chairman's Award: Chairman's Award - Issue reason: Your outstanding contributions to this community have not gone unnoticed. IN my view you are a worthy recipient of the (rarely used) Chairman's Award.

Ari Vatanen - star of Climb Dance! The reason I keep a warm Peugeot 405 and drive it how it gets driven!

Have never owned a Van but think they could be cool if done right with AWD and decent power.
You can get commercial vans with the 2nd row but they are still commercial with most of the interior trim missing.
This would be the opposite being passenger 1st with all the interior trim, but the ability to fold up the 2nd row when needed for odd jobs.
It would be an alternative to a Dual Cab in a different way esp if not intending to go off road ect. But definitely not saying they would sell many.
VW offer what you might be after.

A regular at the dog park I used to go to has one, and I got talking to him about it, didn’t say a bad word about it. Lifted and AT tyres but he removed the rear seats as it was kitted out for camping. Awesome set up.

Oof, I like the Wish version a bit better:

The change left over between the $120K VW and the $50K Wish version you could buy a few spare Nissan CVTs for when they crap out

Oh yeah, Toyota also do a similar one but new ones are pricey, well into the 6 figures.
Base model of those VW are around $60k.
Go to NZ and you’ll be put right off those Nissans and the older Toyota equalvalent. Only driven by obese Maori and Islanders full of their fat kids with the **** end nearly dragging on the ground while they consistently travel 20-30kmh under the open road limit with a huge que of traffic in tow.

But yeah, none of them are going off road, but Mitsubishi do or did do a Delcia. I think they’re based off the Triton/Challenger.

That Alphard looks mint, I just need 30 kids now to live like a king on Centrelink payments and roll around in my $190,000 VIP Tarago like 70% of Fawkner and Campbellfield.

Move to the north west and bag a native, you’ll have all of what you want in no time.
