I was wondering does anyone know why Telstra has put a temporary halt from Feb 1 on the sale of new Foxtel Services please?

Probably related - I recently received an email from Foxtel telling me they are introduced a new pricing & packaging structure on 1 February 2024. (I think I get more but we are up to $76 / month now! It went up $5. I was shocked it was already at $71) |

They are also closing down Telstra TV per https://www.telstra.com.au/entertain...ies/telstra-tv I suspect few will notice but it suggests Telstra are phasing itself out of streaming services and there is probably negligible margins for it in Foxtel with Foxtel taking most of the margin and with many more competing and cheaper streaming services now available.
