Rarely do I see a car which I don't recognize. However I saw this car yesterday and have no idea what it is.

Notorious for being the main target of Ralph Naders book "Unsafe at Any Speed" that prompted North Americam Auto makers starting to look at safety issues in the design of cars.

The more mature amongst us (ok, old) might remember the Frank Gardiner / Allan Grice racecar version from the Australian Sports Sedan series of the 70's?
Obviously very modified and not much more than a shell over lots of F5000 Lola T332 parts.

I didn't cheat and guessed correctly from the large air intake and bottom vent.
I do believe the rolling/handling issue was fixed with a sway bar. This car could have had a lot of potential if it had a better start in life. |
