Howdy All,
I was wondering if anyone has had experience with the Universal Split CV Boots? They seem like a much quicker option than having to take tyres off etc. Any info would be much appreciated, especially - Do they come with glue? If not, what glue would you recommend? AND any websites you suggest where I can purchase? From what I've found they all seem to be sites based in China. I understand that's probably where they are sourced but would prefer to deal with someone based in Oz in case I have any problems. Thanks for your help. As always, its priceless |

I have used them and they usually come with a tube of adhesive but I prefer to use an unsplit using a tool like this: https://www.youtube.com/results?sear...y=CV+Boot+tool and https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/20471869...Bk9SR8jwzZf-Yw and https://www.amazon.com.au/MagiDeal-I...s%2C293&sr=8-1 or even https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005...martRedirect=y and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qNfIZxEb82U
The split ones can be a bit fiddly and I think the split ads another future failure point risk but see https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oLHwlclb9bg&t=532s and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AM9IkzPNFG0 and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nLAWIQ05DS0 and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ubbUzc2TP_I etc So don't try and split them yourself.
