Sounds CFI, convert to MPI. As John said exhaust, extractors, some sort of CAI will make it go good, i'd also recommend a cam it's definetely the best mod i've done to my car.

here's an idea, use the EF/EL Variable manifold, and an EL computer for ignition and manifold control. Also a set of extractors and an EF Cam wouldnt go astray (rumours are that the EF profile is very similar to the ED XR6). Of course if your is a 3.3, abandon all hope of cheap easy power and find an EF engine complete... good for ~ 100rwkw in an auto, probably ~ 105-115 in a manual.
Should yield some impressive results, epecially if you find a way to use all of the supposed 100+ octane of lpg... cya Ben that said, is it possible to use the old 3.3 crank in an EF engine, to allow some major revs (decent power without stressing gearboxes with too much extra torque)? |

Check that your accelerator cable is opening the throttle all the way.

manifold apparently bolts on, you just need something to switch the manifold over, and a computer mapped to the manifold would be better as well (hence EL computer, suited to manifold, injectors, and the distributor ignition).
apparently they give an improvement just on their own, with an rpm switch triggering the vaccum line that switches the manifold over, but the fuel/ignition isnt perfect. LPG is probably a different story though. make sure you ask some other people though, I havent done this, my car already came with it. cya Ben |
