Default You thought a Phase 3 was expensive.

I am revealing a secret fetish of mine with this post. I purchased a magazine from the states, Mopar Action as I have a big thing for US mopars... I'm sorry .. forgive me ......
Anyway, in it there is an article about a convertible 70 Hemi cuda ( 426 auto ) which they give a pretty good hammering ( enough to make the auto dodgey ) that's valued at ... wait for it..
5,000,000 USD : Who knows if they would actually get that.. but to even be talking those fugures is insane !
One of 14 70 hemi cuda convertibles, one of 9 built with an auto and the only one red on red.
Makes out quarter of a mil AUD for a phase 3 seem like a small gig !!

A certain user that recently changed his name would agree Jeff, hopefully he purchases something similar so we can get a ride in it.

its crazy but people over there pay prices for a rare model that we would think is huge......... the prices are pushed up because there are so many more people trying to get their hands on them than there are here on our cars.......

have you any pics of this particular car jeff?

I attended a muscle car cruise in Florida in 1994 and a guy there had a red last model produced Edsel convertible with white trim (can't remember build date). It had the Lincoln (spelling) grill in it as a last ditch effort by Ford to make the Edsel acceptable. Apparently there were only a handfull of this model made and he had been offered US$90,000 for it then in 1994!

A maybach will devalue.. these won't.
As for the house.. if you had a lazy 5 mil to spend on a car, you wouldn't have a house, you'd have a mansion

You would be right except that's not his valuation, just a general consensus from a few clubs.
