there is a chiptorque chip for sale on ebay, much cheaper to get that than an xr computer... the xr computers i think are a bit over rated...

Anything that he could use on eBay would be standalone and cost a heckload more than an EB XR6 computer (Unless he got it from ford spares hahahaha) |

is it auto or manual? pretty sure there are no presmartlock tickford ecu's. rollin may have one in his car but the part number is yet to be confirmed. why do you need one anyway? did you fit a lumpy cam and it wont idle or is it just because you now have a tickford motor? if its only the motor wouldnt worry about it but if your cam wont idle you will most likely need one. but yeah there nothing special just a good cheap way to cure lumpy idle problems to a degree. A unichip or chiptorque would be on the cards i would say.

ah OK, yeah i wouldnt worry about chasing one up urgently then. the cams are very mild so a stock ECU will run it fine.

the chiptorque chip last time i checked on ebay was $120, with less than 20 hours to go... I picked one up for $150, and it cost me $140 for it to be fitted and reprogrammed, HP2 and manual tune...
