Not much difference in any of the stock brakes - they are all pretty much the same from AU2 through to BF (287 or 298 fronts, etc). The only real upgrade would be the PBR kit available for BA/BF (and therefore I assume AU2/3 as well), or the premium setup from AU2 through to BF.

Here's the fitment guide from dba:
AU II, AU III - all models 2000 - on F 502 Vented 287 65 28 25.6 71.8 5
R 503Solid 287 51 16 14.5 70.5 5

BA 4.0L DOHC 2002 - on F 504 Vented 298 65 28 26 70.5 5
4.0L Turbo 5.4L V8 4V
R 505 Solid 303 51 16 14.5 70.5 5

Standard AUI:
- Front: Single Piston Caliper to hold a 287mm Disc
- Rear: Single Piston Caliper to hold a 287mm Disc

Standard AUII/III:
- Front: Twin Piston Caliper to hold a 287mm Disc
- Rear: Single Piston Caliper to hold a 287mm Disc

Tickford/Premium AU Setup:
- Front: Twin Piston Caliper to hold a 330mm Disc
- Rear: Single Piston Caliper to hold a 287mm Disc

BA (incl XR):
- Front: Twin Piston Caliper to hold a 298mm Disc
- Rear: Single Piston Caliper to hold a 303mm Disc

BA Premium Brakes:
- Front: Twin Piston Caliper to hold a 325mm Disc
- Rear: Single Piston Caliper to hold a 303mm Disc

FPV:
- Front: Twin Piston Caliper to hold a 330mm Disc
- Rear: Single Piston Caliper to hold a 303mm Disc

I think thats mostly correct. As you can see on the BA's they got a larger rear disc, but slightly smaller front disc (than the Tickford setup), unless you get a FPV setup as fitted to the FPVs.

Mr Cube has bolted BA brakes to his AU1 (had to replace spindles etc to AU2 spec), which suggests that any of the BA brakes would bolt up as well, as long as you got the right calipers for the larger discs, etc.

If thats the case then im guessing that the BF XR6T/XR8/Territory brakes should bolt on to AU2/3. Would be a bit cheaper than the Tickford/FPV setup too.

For the Tickford/FPV Setup anyway, for the caliper to hold the larger disc, you need the braket, which helps it stick out and up. Not sure about the BA/BF Brakes. But will be much less costly than the Tickford setup. And i see no reason why it shouldnt just be a bolt on job. And having 303mm discs in the rear, will look alright.

After just buying the CT's, I've now been told they don't pull up (so many different opinions) so can someone tell me which is the better choice so that I can decide whether to swap them. Should I stay with the CT's or go with Advance?

I'm pretty hard on my brakes, that's my driving style, so which will suit better? And especially after all the go fast mods and more to come shortly, I need something that will be up for the task until I can afford the conversion.

Not sure about the CTs as I 've never used them.

PBR make the standard Ford calipers, as well as the upgraded sports brakes for AU2 - BF..

Id like to know what improvement the PBR brake package(with the colored calipers) is over running the ford callipers with slotted DBA rotors and decent pads?

Use a G clamp to push the piston back in.. the rest comes off with a couple of sockets.

and generally if you have the right tools and know how to do the job I give it 20-30mins to do both fronts..

My brother and I changed my front discs and pads today, as well as the rear pads!

For the front we used, 13mm ring spanner, elbow grease, piston depression tool to get the piston all the way back in, 10mm spanner for the brake bleeding nipple, one way valved brake bleeding tool, brake fluid.

Instead of the piston depression tool, a g clamp would work ok too I reckon!

Oh and I needed to give the 13mm a few whacks with a mallet to get it going. Those bolts were very tight.
