Default BA XR8 ute exhaust onto AU V8 ute?

Hi Guy's does anyone know if a BA XR8 ute exhaust will bolt directly onto a 99 Au V8 ute without having to modify it? & would it be of any advantage over a normal Au 5ltr exhaust? thanks

im gonna go out on a limb and say no.

because, the BA XR8 motor is a BOSS 5.4 litre engine, and the AU is a Windsor, 5litre

now if it was off the BA 3valve V8 then maybe.

I would say yes, maybe with some minor mods to suit the AU cats. But the ute shape is the same, they're both V8s, and in XR8 form, both use twin 2.25" pipes. So there's no reason for it not to fit really.

A decent cats back system will set you back between $500 and $1000 for a windsor (ranging from 2.5" single, to 3" single to 2.5" twin), so if you get this for around $300 or so (or less), and it costs even $200 to fit including whatever cutting and welding of flanges to suit is required, you are still way in front.
