Default AU1 to AU 3

just wondering if the stereo air con surround from a AU II or III would fit a AUI or would the wiring to the clock and air con be different wanting the black surround with upgraded air con buttons

Size wise it will fit.

But as for the heater box and air con. It's apparantely all different.

Your best bet, would be to get a replacement center pod in a Carbon Fibre or Urban Geometric Pattern. If you have a black dash, they look reall nice!

Unless you modify the AUII-III Center Pod surround... Theres no way it'll fit.

You need to change the whole heater box (there is one on eBay atm). Then you need to buy the new center pod, and controls from an AUII-III.

I'm sure theres a few things i have missed though. Like wiring, etc.

Unless you have a donar car, it will be very expensive, and a lot of hassle. I would just get a Black Center Pod Piece or Carbon Fibre one, if your trying to improve the look of it.

the reason i want to do this is that i want a darker colour...and my air con fan seems to work only on speeds 3 and 4 wat might this be
