Default manual questions

i kno there has been threads startedbut yet again the search didnt come up with anything. i have a couple questions, does anyone kno much about these mal wood pin kits, i have on here that i bought but is there anything else that goes with it eg springs, clips etc, and because i own a ghia i get cruise control, what switch am i meant to use for it and how does it mount and were can i get one from?

look in the driveline section, and a few pages down in here, i posted up pics of the setup. You only need the pin kit, get your pedal and return spring from Ford.You have figured out how the removed half moons in the pin are supported by the brake pivot? with the mal wood kit you cannot wire in a cruise control clutch disengage switch as there is no mount for it. Might have to custom weld one on maybe if u really are that keen (im just wary of when the cruise is on and dont downshift)

yeah i just left mine off mate
(i used a manual pedal box but couldnt be farrrked making it switch me cruise off when i put clutch in)

just be careful =) u will be fine... makes u able to do burnouts with no accelerator.. its a cool trick it will impress others 1 foot burnout in a manual >=) woot

you can get one of the early type EA clutch switchs which bolt onto the pedal box with a bracket rather then being welded on. would probably require removal though and it looks like youve got the pin to avoid doint that.

my cruise works fine with my manual however i did it the hard way and changed the whole pedal box with one from a cruise control ED XR6.

awesome. anything else i will need? no dramas with the clutch cable? mounting wont be a problem? worth doing some seals while its off?
