Full respray as in bare shell/engine bay etc?
You'd typically be looking at around 3-5k from what i've seen, depending on detail/craftsmanship and how much of the car you're doing. Just depends who you know as well. My guy is doing a full respray of my van for half/less than half of that price. |

Complete bare metal respray and resto will set you back $12K however a quick freshen up somewhere around the $3-5K mark. I've seen $2K jobs and believe me they look it. When it comes to paint you get what you pay for..

Whether a 'crappy' VK or XA GT, costs the same to paint! If you want your crappy VK to stay a crappy VK just give it a coat and could be done for $1000.00 over the top of dents and scratches with overspray to match. If the car is in 'crappy' condition and you want it looking good, between $4,000 - $8,000. Who knows what it is required with out seeing how 'crappy' it is! Engine bay done? Inside doors? etc..........If you want a FORD colour, any car paint store will be able to supply any colour you want from what ever brand. Ford dont sell paint.

I've just paid 5500ish for my vl to be resprayed. Stripped back entirely - primed painted and then for a bit extra they're putting it all back together for me.
