All the cars on here look great with tints....

Yeah will post some pics (be good for a giggle anyway)... ;) should be here by friday so over the weekend...

It should be mentioned that tints of 20% or less are a danger to following vehicles in heavy traffic. This is simply because when driving in peak hour type traffic you should be looking through the windows of the car in front to pick any sudden stops by the cars ahead. If I had 20% or less and drove in heavy traffic regularly I'd be worried about copping a rear ender.

how do you rate this for instructions.... i only breifly read em, but did not seem to be ummmm .. well... you decide

Installation Instructions:
CAUTION:
It's very important to read all the instructions thoroughly before installing film. Every step must be performed to achieve a professional look. Be very careful not to crease the film. Lay the film out on a flat clean surface.
PREPARATION
Suggested tools: 1qt. spray bottle, clean bucket, clean working area, clean towels
Wash car thoroughly
Make tint solution - 2 tsp. of baby shampoo (Johnsons) to 1qt. (spray bottle)
Remove & clean any stickers on windows
Remove, if needed, back tray, brake light, speakers, door panels etc.
Side windows with felt - tape off with tape (see tips)
Clean the rubber around windows with tint solution
DUST
Dust is not easy to deal with. The most common place for dust is the floors, tools, car windows and hands. You must eliminate as much as possible for a good tint job.
1. Wash the outside of the car and pay extra attention to the window area.
2. Use a clean bucket of water for fingertips and tools. This cuts down on the chance of dirt and dust particles.
3. Tinting is highly recommended to be done inside, a breeze cold blow dust on the film and windows.
4. Washing down the floor will also help cut down on dust and dirt.
SQUEEGEEING
1. Clean the squeegee in your bucket of clean water every time, before you clean the window.
2. Each pass of the squeegee should cover 50% of the last pass. Left to right movement.
3. Final squeegee on rear window, follow the defrost lines and apply a good amount of pressure.
PEELING LINER
The film has two layers, one a clear liner and the other is tint with an adhesive coat on it. Spray the adhesive side of the film while your peeling off the clear liner (be sure to spray the entire film as your peeling the clear liner in order to keep a wet application between the window and the film).
FINGERS
Fingers, is a term used by installers that means a darting bubble running from the edge of the glass inward or upward. Use a white card to push out fingers.
FELT
In some cases you will have heavy felt surrounding the roll up windows (Ex. Chevy Caprice Classic) you will need to tape off the felt, simply roll the window down and run strips of masking tape along the inside portion of the felt that surrounds roll up windows.
DRYING AFTER INSTALLATION
If possible, put the car in the sun after applying the film, so the moisture can dry. Slowly, try to push out any fingers every 5 - 10 minutes with the white card. If in a colder climate, repeat steps.
WINDOW CLEANING
To assure a quality installation, thorough cleaning is very important. Automotive glass contains oil and residues that are invisible and can affect the bond of the film to the glass if it is not completely clean.
1. Make sure all preparation is done: tape felt, door panels removal, etc.
2. Scrub the window thoroughly with tint solution and with the white cleaning pad. (Squeegee clean, start at top and go left to right, clean squeegee in bucket of water each time, working your way to the bottom)
3. Squeegee window with tint solution and black squeegee (twice). In same cleaning motion as before.
4. Turn on the ignition and roll down the side window about 2 inches; clean again with the solution and squeegee. (same motion)
5. Never use a paper towel or a cloth for final cleaning of windows, they contain too much lint. Use squeegee only.
*Note: Clean windows are very important, DO NOT short cut these steps. (The cleaner the window the cleaner the tint job).
SIDE WINDOW INSTALLATION
1. Lay out the film on outside glass of the window you will be tinting. Spray outside of the window to hold film to the glass while you peel the clear liner down. (Clear side facing you) look for peel side sticker on the clear side.
2. Clean the window one more time before installing the film, top to bottom, left to right.
3. Start at the top and peel the liner halfway down (clear facing you and not completely off) Lay the film on the window and position to fit (leave a 1/8" gap at the top). Squeegee the top 6 to 9 inches downward, do not squeegee near the un-peeled liner.
4. (Take care on this step not to get dirt or dust near the film, do not let the film near the side felt or bottom rubber). Let the top of the film dry a few minutes or until it will slide and roll up window carefully, lift up the bottom of film & liner, spray solution on the glass and clean. Spray glass again and peel off the liner and tuck the tint under the bottom rubber. (Do not let the film touch the door panel). Use the white card to pull back rubber, start tucking on left or right side and work your way to the other side.
5. Finish squeegeeing the window, then come back and squeegee the window again to get any water that is left behinde or missed.
6. You may have a few fingers (see tips), let them dry a few minutes and then try to push them out with the white card. (Careful not too push to hard). Repeat this step until they are gone (depending upon climate, this step could take some time) the warmer the window the better.
REAR WINDOW INSTALLATION
In most cases the rear window is too large for one person to install easily. We recommend you get help top lay the film on the back window, it will be much easier to have an extra set of hands holding the film.
1. Spray the outside of the back window with tint solution and lay the film down, (on the outside of the back window) with the clear side up.
2. Squeegee clean the inside of the back window, one more time before the actual installation (make sure the edges are clean).
3. The brake light, speaker, and rear tray should be removed by now, if needed.
4. Peel off the clear liner and spray the film with tint solution, be careful not to crease the film. Lay the clear liner on the rear tray inside of the car to protect the interior and to reduce the chance of carpet fibers on tint.
5. Spray the inside of the window and on the tint. Clean your hands in the bucket, grab the film at the top of the window (left and right side) have your helper on the opposite side of the vehicle. Slide into the vehicle and have your helper grab their side of the film. Use one hand to hold the top of the film and the other hand to take the bottom and slide into the bottom of the window (care not to let the tint touch anything - headliner, side molding, rear tray, etc.)
6. Once the film is laid onto the glass, use your hand and get the film to lay smooth, pushing out excessive water.
7. Squeegee a 9" X 12" area in the middle of the window. (Make sure all sides are in place)
A. Squeegee the A sides out 1st
B. Squeegee B corners out 2nd
C. Squeegee C top to bottom; Do not worry about fingers around the edges, come back and dry them out later.
WHAT TO EXPECT
DRYING AFTER INSTALLATION

The window film you have purchased is a high quality product and an investment in your vehicle. The mounting solution used during the installation will require time to dry out. During this time the film will look like it has water pockets and as it dries it will look like chicken pox, this is all normal and part of the regular drying process. This period of time will vary depending upon weather conditions. Cold and non-sunny weather will lengthen the dry out time, while hot and sunny weather will shorten the dry out time.
Cold Weather Dry Out Time: Approximately 4-8 weeks
Sunny and Hot Weather Dry Out Time: Approximately 3-6 weeks
CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS
* Clean soft materials to wash and dry film
* Do not use any ammonia-based solutions to clean any film
* Do not use bristle brushes, abrasive scrubbing pads or sponges, or anything that could scratch the film, never wash interior film with exterior cleaning materials, it could contain dirt particles which could scratch the film, even some brand of paper towels are coarse enough to put fine scratches in the film.

Saw a EF Ghia the other day in green.. Had greenish limo tint. Could not see in until it went under a bridge or simular where it wasn't reflecting the sky.. Still dark tho. Looked very nice, suited the car. Provides privacy.

35% on the fronts and 20% on all other windows looks nice tho, and is legal.
