Hi guys and girls, as a devoted ford nut i could not resisit joining the forum as i now am taking the plunge into a restoration/buildup project. all help is certainly helpful. I started off buying a mk1 escort with anticipation of building a cross between a group n circuit car and a historic rally car. after buying the car after looking at many, i went to mallala motorsport park to witness my worst nightmare, I can't use a 2lt in an escort for group n, I'm sorry to all those out there with lotus motors but that doesn't cut it for me, I would rather be keeping up with the toranas and the bigger cars for excitement, not cortinas and minis.
So i have bought a v6 capri to build up, as a result of this i now have a great mk1 escort that is complete and is a 1300 auto which would be perfect for resto or race car donor. can anyone help? p.s i need to sell before the missus finds out that i have bought another car |
