G'day folks,
Just thought I would share my findings with you all, I went hunting around my engine bay recently, re-registering my vehicle, and I found out something very interesting. I found this on my VIN Plate... 6FPAAAJGSW2M##### Now, I dunno about the majority of you, but the ones who are a tad more observant will see an incorrect number in there. It should read 6FPAAAJGSWWM##### I always felt my VCT ST was special, and now I know it is! It's a BA Prototype  I wish. Anyone got an explanation for why Ford felt it was neccessary to call my AUIII XR6 VCT ST a BA? |

They were just testing out the new stamps and thought they'd try it on yours instead of ruining a BA :thebirds:

why have they called it a BA?
it was a AU that was built in 2002 like thousands of others |

The VIN on my cars plate is the first one, when it should be the second one.
6FPAAAJGSW2M##### <== BA, Which my AU has 6FPAAAJGSWWM##### <== AU, Which my AU *should* have Unless of course, you were taking the p1ss, In which case my excuse is I have a headache

Maybe all 2002 AU's had that same start of VIN Number. And the BAs were released in 2002.
I'll check my 02 falcon tomorrow.
