Hey guys,
The EB went in for a RW inspection at a place in Kilsyth that used to be known as very 'lenient'. Anyways, long story short the car didn't pass, because the place got dicked and their license was suspended for 10 weeks so now they're hardar$es. They failed to tell me those details before they took the car in and charged me $75, even though I'm a regular customer. They came up with heaps of stuff that most places wouldn't even look at. Anyways, the car's now booked in at a quality Taxi depot in Nunawading for a RW. Most of the stuff seems pretty legit to me now, but my biggest concern is the exhaust. We tried to repair it yesterday and it fell in to about 3 pieces from the centre muffler. The centre muffler is pretty hammered, looks like it's hit something hard. The rear is shagged and the tailpipe is rusted out. The rest of the exhaust seems perfect. So anyways, how much should I pay for that rear section of the exhaust, like the centre muffler, tail section and rear muffler? I payed $450 for a full cat-back 3" on the EA a year ago so it has to be less than that for sure?? I'll take it in for a RW like this, and see what else they come up with before I bother. Sundeep |

By the way, has anyone got a standard EA S Pack rear sway bar they want to get rid of for $10?

Just got a quote.
$390 to repair the 3" system or $190 to put a 2.5" on it from the crossover junction. I'll probably take the latter option if the RW check goes well. Sundeep |
