Default mounting headlight covers

Is it possible to install the XR headlight covers without having to drill out the holes to mount them, but something semi-permanent so i dont lose one half way down the street!

Thanks guys

Mine used to have them on before i bought it i gather as it now has screws filling the old holes !

Looking at the design of them , i recon you could make like 2 legs for each cover to attatch to , then make the legs so they clip on right near the light , in that gap between the light and the body/panel .

You could make the legs about 1cm wide / and as long as they need to be , and out of a bit of 1.5mm to 2mm aluminium sheeting or something. (something light guage but strong).

Make like a full small tight U shape bend on the 1 side of the leg ..so u can push it on an angle into the gap near the side of the light, then push the leg flush against the inside of the lights cone/panel and pull it back toward you to clip it onto the edge of the panel right next to the light ). - do this on both sides of the light , on all lights / 2 legs each light.

And on the other end of the leg make a small angled 90 degree bend (bent the opposite way to th U bend on the other end ) with a hole drilled in the centre so u can screw the light cover onto them /the legs u make . Each light cover would require at least 2 legs imo, 1 on both side of the light.

It would be impossible for them to come off without first removing the screws attatching the covers to the legs, and then pushing the legs in foward toward the lights to unclip the legs off the panel , then tilting the legs on an angle inwards again to be able to get the U shape bend back out of the gap .

Paint the legs the same color as ya car too so they don't stand out, i recon they would be almost invisible ;) .

I could probably knock you up a quick sketch/picture of what i mean if your unsure of what im on about ;) .
