Default zl fairlane / zf falcon

i own a zl and have a question regarding the whereabouts of a certain part. my rear window demister isnt working and an auto elec said it isnt the fuse or the actual window so it has to be the relay or something. Where is this relay?? Has anyone else ever had trouble with their rear window demister in this year of falcon or fairlane? Any answer would be much appreciated. Cheers

My old ZL, my bro old XF ghia and my dad's ZL had problems with the rear demister. From what I understand its pretty common for those cars to have problems with the rear demister. Even with a lot of those model car I have looked at, theynever did work properly.

ok..... the rear demister is conductive strips from one side of the rear window to the other.......... they have a plug on either side of the car on the window.

if these conductive strips are damaged at all, the demister wont work....

i dont know where the rear demist fuse is but i dare say it will be in the fusebox with all the other fuses....

Nine times out of ten it's those cursed demister switches that have pooed themselves. The high current melts the switches rather quickly
