Default Speakers in an AUII Ute

Just wondering what size the speakers are in the door of an AUII XLS Ute. Also too, it looks like there are two speakers squeezed in between the styleside tray and the cab, anyone confirm?

5x7's are in the front, the things you are referring to in between the cab and the tray on the outisde of the ute arent speakers, i really have no idea what they are, but they are definately not speakers. Ive got them too.

If you want to fit bigger speakers though, leave the stock ones in place, and use the two other outlets on your stereo that were originally intended for sedan rear speakers. I installed two 300w sony pods in boxes and i leave them behind the seats on the shelf(Got it all from supercheap), with extra long cable, so when im at the drive in, i can pull the speakers out and put them on the roof of the car, also great at impromptu parties when you need some good audio.

There is room for (and some have) speakers between the b pillar and the back wall...

They are 5X7 size but iv seen people put 6X9's in there as there is plenty of room

Yeah, I've seen someone put some subs in between the seat and rear wall, looks pretty schmick too.

I've got some VDO 6" speakers that I couldn't get installed into my old EA so I want to replace the front ones with these and then go looking at subs.

sourbastard, can you put up a pic of your setup?
