Hi all,
Does anyone know of the sales of Ford vs Holden? A few years ago, the EF/EL seemed to be around more than the VR/VS... then when the AU hit the scene, VTs were everywhere! Now it seems that BAs are more common than I thought, because I am seeing less VX/VYs. Just curious

The last I read about this bindi was that Ford have reeled in the sales a smidge over Holden. What that percentage was I can't remember. But Ford have reeled it in.

Try this site www.automotivepersonnel.com.au/news
It has a month by month chart for each segment. Although they don't go that far back. Last edited by RATT; 01-03-2005 at 11:56 AM. |

i see a shit load of BA XR's!
RPO83 usually provides sales figures, and ford has not beaten holden. bridged the gap, but not beaten them in falcon v commodore, that i know of... From what ive heard, ford dont have the potential to produce as many cars as holden can anyway.... |

and ford has always had the ute sales over holden....mainly due to the fact that they are cab chassis and the tradies can bolt their tool boxes onto them etc... |

Yeh the utes got outsold for the first time in ages. differing opinions on why, apparently ford sacrificed some ute production in favour of producing more territory's
