Ok I measured the height of my car today.From the cat and it sits at 12mm with no one in it... used: And I put my new rego stick on... they are bastards to get off!!!
So can any one tell me how to get the cat higher with out costing to much... |

are you sure it's 12mm not 12cm?? coz dam thats low... isn't it been held up but the mounts? if so dam your cars low...

12mm damn thats low are you sure? i think you might need to raise it a bit. the exhaust can only be raised buy tightning the rubber bands or replacing them.

100mm is legal height I believe. Your exhaust should be able to be lifted up by adjusting the rubber mounts.

120mm? Bah, that's fine It (the cat) wont move much lower with a full car load, but it'll go alot lower at the centre muffler with 5 people in it and that will probably scrape speedbumps. The cat at 120mm wont really hit anything I wouldnt think.

get a full system done 2.5 inch mandrel, redback lukey etc make good ones, about 800 for extractors and exhaust

I got mine off ebay 135 delivered brand new. 3" Magna Flow. US made and it's excellent.

12cm mate youve still got another 2cm to go hehe.
The only way to raise your exhaust is to cut n shut the exhaust hangers to bring the piping closer to the body. Highly recomended to install some heat shielding too. |

lol your car a bit beaten... least it's worth fixing
my rear muffler sits too low i reckon... coke can won't go under it .. when i get the resonator removed i will get the exhaust joint to raise the muffler :P |
