Fabric seat I presume? Wash with strong disinfectant (pine o clean or similar with strong eucalyptus scent) Dry area (soak it up with slurper sponge first) Spray with Febreze. Repeat Febreze spray daily for a few days.

Glen 20 also works a treat got to be the original scent however, when my son was a baby he did a big milk spew in the car, sprayed it maybe twice and got rid of it completely even when it had been sitting in the sun for a while

go to a pet shop, they have specific stuff.
my ex-girlfriend works in a pet store, and she bought some home along with a UV light, we used to the UV light to find where to spray it... it was an EYE OPENER to say the least. I has some very specific seating positions after that.

Remember to wind up your windows! I remember having this happen to me a while back and it was the worst smell. I think I used bi carb soda to soak the pee out and then did the vinegar trick. Never left my window open there again.

yeah it did it on purpose for sure , i was sitting on the ground fixing a generator when the car came up so i gave him a scratch behind the ear and a pat, after about 1 min of hanging around it of so casually bent down and really sank the fangs into my leg . i gave it a hit and it just sauntered away .
just wants to be dominant i suppose. still bloody stinks today, have had to rearrange my jobs so i dont go to peoples houses in case i smell lol |

Are you implying that this cat just walked up to you and bit you.? If so maybe its rabid and needs to be put down.

Get some cheap Cloudy Ammonia ....... It will seem to stink worse than the cat pee ..... hint .... dont take a wiff of it straight ......You will end up on your knees :P
Put a good splash of the cloudy Ammonia into the hottest water your hand can stand, then rinse the area with a cloth........ let it dry & it will have got rid of it for sure .... Dont panic about the smell of the cloudy Ammonia though .... the smell will vanish as soon as its dried ....... This stuff will clean and remove odors from ANYTHING!!!!! |

Ammonia?
From my understanding, cats have a fairly high amount of ammonia in the cat pee and they pick up the scent of ammonia. Cats pee on anything that smells like cat pee, even if its their own, because they are masking it with their own smell. So for example, hair dye has ammonia in it. We found our cat ****ing on an old towel used to wipe the hair dye off my wife because he smelt the ammonia in it. Putting ammonia on your seat is a sure-fire way of getting a cat to **** on it again.

Cats do it for revenge.
We had a vistor at our place giving one our cats some aggravation. Cat excused himself and went outside. Visitor left an our later to find a HUGE pile of steaming cat poo slap-bang in the middle of the bonnet of his shiny new Magna... It had never happened before and has not happened since. |

Another hypothesis..
Cats are territorial. They use their urine to mark out territory. You become unwelcome in his territory, and he smelt your presence all over your car seat. So he p***ed all over it. Seems logical. Any cat psychologists here? Oh, and be thankful he didn't have a gun. |

Somehow I dont think the cat's motives were quite as well thought out as yours. You are either giving the cat too much credit or you have the IQ (or less) of a cat... :yeees:
