I hope it looks better in the flesh, because to me it looks a bit dated. It looks like a cross between a toyota supra and hyundai coupe.

Cool

Apparently it looks much better in the flesh from those who have actually seen it. I think some people may view the new XK in the same way as the old XJS - they hated it at first but as the years roll on they will think that it looks fantastic.

I do like the interior but it looks too conventional especially around the center stack and air vents.

I've actually got a soft spot for Jag's. My uncle has a '77 XJS V12 (never drives it because of the amount of fuel it uses!!). I love the big HP stuff, like the XKR's, and I'm pretty impressed with this new version!

Love the Jags, I think that looks good. Wouldn't mind having it parked in my driveway.

The DB7 was based on a Jag platform.

Absolutely gorgeous car. Astons & Jags are both designed by Ian Callum, much better then the efforts he used do when designing for HSV :

I love it. I love the Jag XKs. The new one looks great. Hopefully it is successful for Jaguar.

They had such an awsome platform to work from (V8 Vantage) and managed to ruin the front successfully.

It still looks to me like an AM wanna-be. The older XKR didn't look so much like one in my opinion.

Rather eloquent lines about that one. A design very well executed I thought.

I love the look of this car. I don't mind a supercharged V8 and I'm guessing I'd have more chance of getting one in Australia than an Aston V8 Vantage - also I'm sure the gauges go the right way and cruise control is standard (AM want extra for cruise control! On a $300000 car, unbelieveable)

V8 Vantage RRP is $236k which is still way out of my league but a fair bit under $300k still.

Interestingly enough the XK-R is expected to come in for pretty much the same figure for the coupe & another $22k odd more for the soft top. The Jag has more power 306kw & 560Nm vs 283kw & 410Nm but also carries an extra 95kgs 1665kgs vs 1570kgs so the Aston claims to be ever so slightly faster 5.0 secs to 100km/h & 280km/h top speed vs 5.2secs & a governed 250km/h. The Jag does have an extra 2 seats tho but unfortunately is only available as an auto. Me I'd take the Aston but the jag is still an awesome car.

Dammit you've gone & made me look like Steffo now :

I like it! The new XKs impress me....even more so considering the limited budget Ford gave Jag to develop it.
