Lets hope there in no "piston to valve" issues after that. What is you shift rpm?
Head back out next weekend, and we can make it two XDs with another set of PBs.

Workhorse, yeah just a bent pushrod, if the lifter had not popped out I would have replaced it and kept racing. Now, I will try and find the cause of it, as I didn't over rev it. Fun and games!!!!!! LUKE

You should be able to get that lifter back in without removing the manifold. After cam runin, i usually SUCK a few out with a magnet for a quick look. Bit tricky, but not too bad.
You may also want to keep those gears when using gas with the mph you will run.

changing to lower gears will suit n/a, but with an extra 100-150hp your current ones might be fine. what size tyre do you use now?

7500rpm on 3 piece pushrods? brave...... I have ZERO faith in 3 piecers after I opened a packet of pushrods and had a couple of the ends roll out by themselves...

4.3's should be right, even 4.11's should be right. I used to cross the line around 6600 with 4.11 and 26/10.5/16 slicks. I'm now crossing around 7000rpm with the same gearing and tyres. Just add power Luke ;) Press the button and you'll find your either close or spot on.
